JULY 3, 2019 – NIAGARA FALLS, NY – WOMEN ISSUED APPEARANCE TICKET AFTER ATTACKING TOW TRUCK DRIVER

Niagara Falls, NY – A barefoot women went on a joy ride on the back of a flatbed tow truck after her vehicle was repoed from the 500 block of 20th Street overnight.

The driver stopped in front of Niagara Falls Police Station at 1925 Main Street and waited for police to arrive.

Niagara Falls Police officers were dispatched to the front of the station around 12:30 am for reports that the woman had attacked and poked the tow truck driver in the hand as he was repoing her vehicle. She then got onto the flatbed and refused to get down. While this was going on the driver said that a group of people came out of a house and began to approach him. Fearing for his life, the driver decided to get in his truck and leave the scene with the woman still on the flatbed. 

The tow truck driver didn’t suffer any serious injuries and owner of the repoed vehicle was issued an appearance ticket.

Niagara Falls, NY – According to police audio, while out on patrol a NFPD officer observed a vehicle driving recklessly down 19th Street blowing through stop signs. Around 9:39pm the officer radios dispatch and seconds later the reckless driver crashes into a pick up driven by a man visiting from Canada. After the crash, a male bails out of the vehicle and begins to fight with the officer before running from the scene leading police on a foot chase. About a half hour after the crash, the registered owner of the striking vehicle reports her vehicle stolen stating that she left it running in her garage before it taken.

Unknown to The Action if any arrest were made.

Scared Dog Jumps Off Of Balcony With Leash Still Attached After Hearing Fireworks


Niagara Falls, NY – In the 6pm hour on June 30th  Niagara Falls Police officers responded to an apartment building in the 1500 block of Pine Ave for an animal call. Moments later Niagara Falls firefighters responded for a dog rescue. According to the owner of the mastiff mix, it got scared when it heard fireworks close by and tried to jump off of the 2nd-floor porch to get away but it still had its collar on with a chain attached to it. Unfortunately, the dog died.
