According to Gulf Today Qasem Al Adawi was with his family on a Niagara Falls tour around 8pm on Saturday when the incident took place, a close relative said.

“Some passersby say they heard a distress call before the man’s disappearance.

The police are combing the area near the waterfall.

The fate of the man is still unknown.

The Saudi Foreign Ministry received a call stating that a citizen had fallen into Niagara Falls.

According to the information, the ministry directed personnel to communicate with the family of the citizen and provide them care and housing.

The Niagara Falls incident has been trending on Twitter. People are calling for an intensive search.”

Niagara Falls, NY – At 8:25pm on the above date, Niagara Falls Fire rescues crews were dispatched to Prospect Point on at the Niagara Falls State Park to assist New York State Parks Police with locating a person who possibly fell into the water.

According to fire dispatch audio, several witnesses stated that they saw a person fall off of a log into the water near the vehicle bridge to Goat Island.

While one crew searched the waters around the top of the falls, another crew searched below near the Maid Of The Mist launch site but were unable to locate a person.

An estimated 40 people are killed each year when they are swept over the falls—most of which are suicides. Other figures suggest that the number of suicides is between 20 and 30, many of which are not publicized by officials.

Niagara Falls, NY – Niagara Falls Police responded to scene of a shooting in the 3100 block of Highland Avenue around 4:23 this morning.

It’s being reported that at least one male was shot in the leg near 3031 Highland Avenue.

Niagara Falls Police were at same location about 30 minutes ago breaking up a rowdy crowd at “The Red House.”

The victim was found laying on the ground next to the house and is being transported to ECMC for treatment.

Police are still on scene at the time of this post.

PIZZA DELIVERY DRIVER ROBBED OF A HALF OF TRAY OF PIZZA

Niagara Falls, NY – Over night, Niagara Falls police officers responded to reports of a robbery of a pizza delivery driver from Sammy’s Pizzeria.

Officers were dispatched the Pizzeria on Hyde Park Blvd around 10:13pm Friday night.

According to police audio, 5 males threaten the driver at an address on Pine Avenue and stole a half of tray of pizza.

Police are investigating.

ULTRALIGHT AIRPLANE MAKES CRASH LANDING AT NIAGARA FALLS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

July 4, 2019 – Wheatfield, NY – One person suffered minor injured late Thursday afternoon after an ultra-light plane endured a rough landing at the Niagara Falls International Airport.

While already out on call in the 2000 block of Lockport Rd. for a single-vehicle rollover crash  Bergholz Volunteer Fire Dept  received a page at 15:00:31 on 07/04/19 to respond along with Tri-Community Ambulance to scene.

MAN HIGH ON DRUGS CALLS POLICE ON IMAGINARY PEOPLE

Niagara Falls, NY – An Ontario Avenue Man called police last night to report that 3 men were outside of his home threatening him with guns.

Niagara Falls police officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Ontario Ave on 7/3/2019 at 11:57 PM for the report.

Turns out he was so high that he imagined the whole thing.

Niagara Falls, NY – While most of us are off today and getting ready to enjoy the day with friends and family and celebrate our nation’s birthday, crew members from the water board will be out on Pierce Ave repairing a water main break. These men have put their celebration oh hold to come into work to make sure the people living near the break have water. When ever there a major break there men are out there working in all kinds of weather to get things running smoothly. Let’s all hope they get done in time to be able to enjoy the rest of their day.

NIAGARA FALLS FIREFIGHTERS BATTLE MACHINE FIRE AT STORAGE YARD

Niagara Falls, NY – Niagara Falls firefighters were dispatched to a storage yard owned by Santarosa Holdings for a tire shredder and tire chips that caught fire.

Fire Engines 3, 4, 8, 7, Truck 1, Rescue 1 and Car 80 were toned out at 8:59pm

Back on August 6, 2018 Niagara Falls Fire Department responded to this location for a large fire involving cardboard bales stored at this location by Greenpac who decided to store excess bales off site after two majors fires in their lots. 1st Greenpac fire.
